Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on the 18th of November 1985. Her birthplace was Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and their mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed an early aptitude in sports as she was attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic talent at that moment. Only 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished with a second-place finish in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to a professional career with Adidas in 2003. She was then accepted into University of Southern California to take classes in elementary school. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal in 2004 at the Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set a Junior World Record by doing 200 m in 22.18 second. As of 2005, she became the youngest World Champion in the 200m at the Helsinki World Championships. She retained her title in 2007 by over her former Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at her first Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo constantly placing within the top three of her races.
