Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born 4 August 1981, is an American actor. She is most famous for her performances in the films The Haunting of Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and for roles in television show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. Amantha is the main character in Rectify the Sundance Channel Drama series. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress on film and television. Her appearances in the drama show Rectify as well as the sci-fi series Timeless made her a star. Her home is in Gulf Breeze in Florida. She began her acting career with the soap opera All My Children. Her performance won her an Soap Opera Digest Award' for Outstanding Female Newcomer. She largely played guest parts in TV series throughout the following few years. The most well-known was the role she played as her character, Dr. Erin Jameson, in the show Hawthorne. Gradually, her beautiful looks and powerful acting abilities helped her to build a loyal fan base. At the age twenty she made her acting debut in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film in which she played a leading role. For her part in Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. The show has been appreciated by critics and Spencer's role has resulted in her being nominated for the Teen Choice Award.
